Our Starting Point

At Horgan & Webb we are specialists when it comes to the sympathetic repair, restoration and conservation of buildings using traditional materials and methods. From repointing to lime plastering, rendering and limewashing to carpentry and slating, we can restore and conserve your traditional building.

Our Ethos

At Horgan & Webb we pride ourselves on helping a building function as it was designed to. This country has a precious heritage of traditional buildings, but it is a heritage that needs care and attention. Our aim is to provide that.

Our Methods

Wherever possible we use traditional materials and techniques - not only because they look better, but because they are best for the building. We will also use modern materials - such as limecrete - if their use is appropriate to the building.

Our Services

We can undertake projects of all sizes, from single rooms up to total building refurbishments. We also prepare reports based on a thorough inspection of a property, outlining what may need to be done to deal with any problems that may exist. We can also provide hands-on tuition in traditional techniques, either one-to-one or in small class groups, for those who wish to develop those skills.
